Are you aware that you are the expert on your hair and skin? Who, if not you, is most likely to see and feel that your skin may not be as radiant today as it was yesterday, that the parting of your hair is in a different place than it was 2 years ago, or that new waves in your hair when the weather was damp were never there before?

If you look in the mirror today, you will see in seconds how you and your appearance are doing. And of course what you would like to improve. Because that's what we all strive for. In the best case, the solution is also sustainable, environmentally friendly and authentic. But what's important is that you want to recognize yourself and like to look in the mirror.

Maybe you feel that now is the time to change something. Because otherwise you wouldn't be here. You are curious about us and our products. And we are curious about you, your hair and its individualities as well as the subtle nuances and whims of your skin!

How good that we are the experts to accompany you on your way to getting to know the world of your hair and skin even better!

Nice that you're here!

Change begins from within

Today we will explain the difference between a conventional and a natural hair color. We also show you how they affect your hair, in the short and long term.

Regardless of whether it is curly or straight hair, each individual hair is very similar in texture to a pine cone. The outside of your hair is covered in small scales that protect it. The tighter they fit, the better the light can be reflected and the hair shines. Below that is the middle layer of hair, in which the color pigments are located and determine your individual hair color.

In the case of treatment with agents such as intensive toning, coloring or bleaching, the outer layer is chemically swollen. This way the color gets into the middle layer with the pigments and removes your original hair color. Think of it like an ink eraser erasing what it finds. In the next step, the new, synthetic pigments are introduced and develop into your new nuance where your individual hair color used to be.

Once the so-called "oxidation process" is complete, the color is rinsed off and a treatment completes the treatment. If you want a brightening, a very radical change or fancy colors such as blue, you cannot avoid a toxic process. So let's keep this in mind:

With conventional colors I can

... almost limitlessly lighten or darken gray or pigmented hair.
... achieve every color shade, whether natural or unnatural nuances.
... achieve a serious change after just 15-20 minutes.

What happens to your hair and skin during this process?

Let's start with the external changes: Many users react with a burning, itchy scalp as soon as they are applied. The color doesn't know it's only meant to soften your hair, damaging the skin's barrier. The treatment is anything but “wellness” for hair and skin. Hair loss, dandruff and eczema can be a long-term consequence of synthetic coloration.

The hair becomes more difficult to comb with each application and loses its natural shine. Because when the outer cuticle layer swells, it wears out, so to speak, and never closes completely again.Imagine the pinecone again: the scales are no longer close to the hair shaft, but are sticking out - the same is true of your hair through repeated dyeing. Where your pigments have been "erased", veritable holes remain. Your hair becomes porous and dry because it can no longer retain moisture. Now only silicone-based products or grooming products with other fillers help to mimic a healthy look.

More is happening inside you: the aromatic amines contained in the paints, such as PTD and PPD, have long been considered potentially carcinogenic, mutagenic, fertility-reducing and proven to cause allergies. And they go through the whole body once. Studies have shown residues of synthetic colorations in the bladder and even in breast milk.

The list of questionable ingredients and their side effects is even longer. So we can conclude that the cons outweigh the cons. Despite this, over 80% of all women dye their hair with synthetic dyes and put up with all these side effects.

What is the alternative then?

A herbal hair color has a completely different effect on the hair: it wraps around the outside of the hair without damaging the hair structure. From the first application, the hair is strengthened and receives exceptional shine and bounce. The color pigments are deposited on the outside of the cuticle, enveloping them to protect and support them. People who dye long-term with herbal hair colors often report increased hair growth and volume, which is the complete opposite of the side effects mentioned above.

At NOELIE we have raised the bar for herbal hair colors a little higher with the Healing Herbs Hair Color and thus created a new dimension in hair coloring: high quality, controlled according to the organic standard Cultivated medicinal plants have been combined into brilliant nuances - vegan, without synthetic or toxic substances. Exquisite ingredients such as medicinal moor extract, acacia collagen and jiaogulan are mixed with warm water to form a color cream. Compositions of 350 different medicinal herbs strengthen and regenerate your scalp: It burns and tugs... nothing.

Normal herbal hair colors can have a drying effect due to their tannic acid content, which we prevent directly. The patented 3HC-Technology®, a molecular complex of strengthening polysaccharides & liposomes, releases nourishing fatty acids when you stir them, which protect your hair from drying out. The liposomal technique transports the healing and restorative color herbs deep into the hair - without any swelling or breaking up. So they accumulate much more deeply than a conventional herbal hair color and
work where they are needed. Now you might be wondering, "But my own pigments are still there, how is that supposed to work?"

Right: A herbal hair color is always created from your individual hair color and the herbal pigments - so your individual touch is always preserved and optimally supported. We promise: every plant color result is unique! Whether you want to cover white hair or just need a change, our Healing Herbs Hair Color will support your individuality perfectly! It coats and seals each hair individually, so your result is protected for a long time.

After rinsing, your nuance will continue to develop until you wash your hair the next time, firming up and intensifying. A hair treatment or a glossing can round off the treatment, but is not absolutely necessary.

Does the plant color also have disadvantages? No! It just works very differently:

You can

with a herbal hair dye

... achieve all natural color shades.
... perfectly cover gray or pigmented hair in 30-60 minutes.
... do not lighten, as we completely avoid harmful ingredients such as oxidizing agents for your health and hair structure.
… repair, rebuild and regenerate hair and scalp.
