Straight, curly, thin or thick hair - in addition to these natural structural characteristics of your hair, the previous care is also decisive for the color result. Chemically treated and bleached hair in particular is usually very damaged, dry and brittle. If you are unsure about the structure and possible color absorption, please dye a test strand first.

Recommended water temperature: 40°C

Recommended application time: Depending on the intensity of the red cast, the application time varies between 5-10 minutes.

STEP 1 | Prepare hair

To remove build-up, silicones and styling products from your hair and scalp, wash your hair with a certified organic, silicone-free shampoo. We recommend our Scalp Stimulating & Purifying Shampoo. Do not use a conditioner or treatment after washing your hair, as this reduces the absorption capacity of your hair.

STEP 2 | Mix Redness Prevent Treatment

Have a whisk, a bowl (both non-metallic), gloves and warm water ready. Shake the Redness Prevent Treatment vigorously before use to mix the color pigments optimally. Now mix it in the bowl with warm water at 40°C to a creamy texture. Depending on the length and amount of hair, you will need 15-100g of the Redness Prevent Treatment.

STEP 3 | Apply Redness Prevent Treatment

Place a towel on the shoulders. For an optimal result, apply the Redness Prevent Treatment from the roots to the tips with a coloring brush if you have an even red cast - otherwise only apply selectively. Depending on the intensity of the redness, the application time varies between 5-10 minutes - please note the application time, otherwise the hair may turn green! The process can also be repeated as required. However, always observe the application time. You will receive your individual application time from our team of experts during your consultation.

STEP 4 | Wash out Redness Prevent Treatment

Rinse out the Redness Prevent Treatment with lukewarm water. Please do not use shampoo so that the medicinal herb pigments can develop optimally. We recommend our certified organic, silicone-free Volume & Shine Hydrating Conditioner as the perfect finishing touch.
