Straight to the point: if you have money to spend, a lot of time and patience it might work on the long run. Over the past few months of me trying these products my hair turned yellow, green, orange and any shade you can imagine in between.
Originally I’ve bought the starter set with 2 colours: Golden Honey Blonde and Redness prevent treatment. (My hair is thick, coarse, at places over 80% grey. Also I’ve never dyed it myself, only at the hairdressers with conventional dyes.)
The Golden Honey Blonde didn’t do anything to my grey hair. Then I was advised to get another shade which didn’t work either, then another shade and so on….
What I’ve learned during this 3 month process:
It’s not an instant fix, especially when you want to cover your greys.
It takes a lot of trial and error trying to figure out the exact formula that might work for you.
You have to buy the whole starter set which is over $400 plus a hefty shipping fee - just to have some chance for success.
Unfortunately for me the biggest letdown when it comes to these products is customer service. Hence the 3 star rating I’m giving.
It took two weeks forth and back messaging just to figure out what I might need to start off with. At the end I got lectured by the customer service representative - saying she is not a hairdresser therefore she wouldn’t know how this product would look on my hair ?!? Then luckily Martin took over. He was kind and funny and he gave me some good tips.
However on the long run there is zero consistency and accountability when it comes to Noeli’s customer service representatives to advising you. Every time you reach out - there is another person replying, in general very nice and friendly - but giving you the exact opposite advice than the previous one.
There is a silver lining though…
Much to my surprise after 3 months of experimenting - I’ve finally got the near exact shade that my original hair was before going grey.
It looks effortless, natural, beautiful. Above all, my hair looks and feels healthy and shiny.
The quality and the smell of these products is simply wonderful. There is nothing else on the market even close to it, so I'm pretty glad I didn't give up on it.
